Tech Stack Teardown: What Powers 6 Live Websites | EGA Internship

Welcome to the first internship session of the EGA Digital Futures Programme — Cohort 1. In this session, our interns present their research into the technology behind six live websites: what each one uses on the frontend, what runs on the backend, and how the data is stored. We then walk through how these sites actually get from a laptop to the internet, using GitHub, Vercel and cPanel. The six websites reviewed: https://www.egamentorship.org/ https://bekwai-youth-movement.vercel.... https://rachaelotuah.egamentorship.org/ https://adukenneth.egamentorship.org/ https://www.theodoreaware.egamentorsh... https://www.richmensah.com/ What we covered: How to identify the frontend framework a site is built with What a backend actually does, and how to spot one Where the data lives: databases and hosted services Version control with GitHub, and why every project starts there Deploying to Vercel, and how a push becomes a live site Deploying with cPanel, and when you would choose it over Vercel Custom domains and subdomains
